The moment I wanted to be a writer was when my family went to see L. M. Montgomery’s house, author of Anne of Green Gables. I was seven-years-old, and I remember seeing her desk and wondering about what kind of magic happened there.
The core message I want my writing to say is that we are wonderful, mysterious beings and that we are so much more than what we seem. As a wise old sage said, “Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter.” 😉
…and happy endings. I’m a believer in happy endings… spoiler alert.
My favorite writing time is at 4 am at the local haunted hospital. This is the perk of working nightshift.
I also am a proud member of SCBWI as well as my local writers association.
